The Veterinary Medical Center offers routine radiology (x-ray) services at all 3 locations. X-ray help our veterinarian diagnose or identify problems regarding your pets health. X-rays give our veterinarians a visual perspective of problems such as fractures, tumors, some forms of cancer, heart enlargement, bladder defects, stomach and intestinal problems and/or lung disease. Radiographs can be performed with or without anesthesia.
The VMC also has the capability of taking specialized X-rays for OFA (hips & elbows) certification. These radiographs are performed with general anesthesia. For more information regarding OFA certification please visit: www.ofa.org
